The gentle nature of our Zen Yoga style is suitable for beginners as well as those more familiar with yoga. Focused on breathing, energy, restoration and mindfulness, we also do gentle work on the spine that encourages the detox process. Students who join our sessions vary from those with back pain, overactive thyroid, ME, fatigue, anxiety and stress, to those who simply want a relaxing stretch with a spiritual focus. a. 'Open Class': Drop-in gentle and mindful general classes in Greenwich will NOT be running in July and August 2017


b. 'Restorative Yoga & Meditation' at Your Style Fitness studio in Woolwich Arsenal:

  • Weekly: Sundays (10am - 11.30am)

  • Location: Bentham House, 2-4 Station Way, Royal Arsenal, London SE18 6FJ (About 5 mins walk straight down from Woolwich Arsenal Station)

  • Membership & Pay as you go options (Free Trial Pass available on YourStyleFitness website)


c. 'Gentle Yoga' in Bermondsey is a free Community Class open to anyone above the age of 55 and a volunteer project with Age UK:


d. 'ONLINE Zen Yoga/Meditation Class' on the HOWNOW online platform:

  • It is like a normal class except you will only be able to see May teaching on your laptop screen (as other students are not shown to you) and all you need is your mat, computer and internet.

e. 'Yoga in the Park' is a Summer Sunday relaxation session in the beautiful nature of Greenwich Park:

NOTE: Please bring your yoga mat (or a large towel), water and maybe some SPF suncream should it be sunny! Confirm attendance by email or Facebook Event page, so that we will wait for you at the meeting point.
